BEL Valves (a division of British Engines Ltd) manufactures high integrity valves for the Oil and Gas industry. As part of the British Engines Group, it has a reputation for investing heavily in the latest capital equipment and people skills to provide a range of Valves, Actuators and Controls for the Surface and Subsea Oil and Gas industry, worldwide. There is a specific focus on high pressure and high integrity applications, and the company is recognised throughout the industry as a high reliability supplier capable of delivering premium products and services to the most hostile environments.
BEL Valves supplies bespoke products to meet exacting practices, and all main industry codes and standards; in bore sizes from ½” to 42”; pressures up to 16,500psi and water depths to 3000 metres. Valves are designed and manufactured to API 6A, 6D, 17D, ASME 16.34, ASME VIII and Norsok standards as required. They can be supplied in a range of materials for sweet or sour service which are suitable for a combination of High Pressures and High Temperatures. Additionally, they can be designed for applications which require zero leakage to the atmosphere, where stringent fugitive emissions criteria exist.
The configurations include on-off, Surface and Subsea, Through Conduit Slab and Expanding Gate Valves, High-Integrity Ball, Globe and Check Valves and an Eccentric Ball Valve (E-Ball). There is also a range of Small Bore Gate, Check, Needle and Rotary Disc Valves for the Subsea market. Products may be supplied with BEL Valves’ own range of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuators including Controls, Accumulators and Hydraulic Power Units. In addition, BEL Valves offers a complete Safety Instrumented Solution to HIPPS (High Integrity Pressure Protection System) incorporating system design, engineering and supply.
BEL Valves operates from an integrated production facility in Newcastle upon Tyne, England offering a full range of Design, Manufacturing, Testing and After-market services, including Deepwater Testing and Training.
