When dealing with valve products especially subsea valves, lifetime operation can often be in excess of 25 years, and so spares are often not on our customer’s priority lists.
However at BEL Valves we ensure that if the requirement arises our customers are prepared.
We provide customers with two distinct options;
Spares Parts Interchange ability Recommendations
We provide a recommended list of commissioning and replacement spares with your valve order within a specific document known as an SPIR.
This covers all soft seals and mechanical parts, interchange ability of components and the costs and standard delivery of each.
Spares On Request
Spares will be quoted at any time within the lifecycle of the product including new valve orders, commissioning, maintenance, refurbishment and de-commissioning periods.
We also appreciate that often spares are required urgently. We therefore provide items on a short lead time basis when required.
Types of Spares
Theoretically any part of the assembly may be offered as spares, either individually or as a ‘kit of parts’ however our experience enables us to provide recommendations to our customers which are specific to application, operating conditions, duty and product.
Refurbishment and Upgrades
There are occasions when our valve products require upgrade for re-deployment, where operating conditions are particularly onerous that refurbishment schedules are built in or where mis-handling or mis-use dictate a need.
We therefore offer refurbishment and upgrade either a customer premises or returned to the Newcastle facility for comprehensive refurbishment, upgrade and re-testing.
