Valve World Americas Expo and Conference

Valve World Americas Expo 2013 will bring the world’s leading valve companies and the end-users from the process industry together, it will be held on June 25 and June 26, 2013, in the George R. Brown Convention Centre, Houston, Texas.

Representing BEL Valves on stand number 138 will be Area Manager Mr Ian Bonds and Sales & Marketing Director Mr Michael Ridley.

BEL Valves strengthening its Sales Force

BEL Valves have significantly strengthened their existing sales force with two new senior appointments. Peter O’Reilly joins as Sales Manager for Southern Europe and Africa and Ron James as Business Development Manager with a particular focus on Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Russia and the Caspian.

Peter’s experience includes senior Sales Management positions with Plenty Ltd, Crane Valves and the Weir Group. His focus will be on the deep water developments and high pressure and high integrity applications in his target regions including opportunities for HIPPS solutions (High Integrity Pressure Protection System).

Ron joins the business from IHC where he was head of Sales and Marketing. Ron’s significant experience also includes positions with GE Oil and Gas, SPX Valves and Tyco Valves and his Oil and Gas industry experience will ensure a valuable contribution to the overall Business Development strategy of the Business.

Subsea Tieback: 5th to 7th March

This year’s Subsea Tieback is scheduled for March 5-7, 2013 in San Antonio, with over 3,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors expected at this year’s conference. BEL Valves will be exhibiting this year highlighting our developments for ultra deep water – nicely matching the theme for the event ‘take it to the limit’ Representing us on stand 473 will be our US Area Manager Ian Bonds and our Sales & Marketing Director Michael Ridley.

2013 Valve Fundamentals Course Dates Released

This course provides an understanding of valve design, function and testing; and is essential for any customers or clients who feel the need to expand their knowledge of valves.

BEL Valves Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge

This October, 28 members of BEL Valves have taken part in the Coast to Coast cycle challenge, this years event was all the more poignant due to the untimely death of one of the previous participants.

The 28 cyclists have managed to raise a staggering £4,700 which will be split between the Stroke Association, in respect of Davey Leigh’s family’s wishes and Cancer Research UK.

Record Attendance at ONS 2012

August is the month when the whole of Stavanger, Norway is taken over by the ONS oil and gas show.

The exhibition saw over 50,000 visitors this year to what is considered one of the most significant oil and gas events outside Houston.

We exhibited with a theme demonstrating our credentials in the high integrity market promoting valve developments in high pressure, high temperature, deep water and highly corrosive and erosive service conditions. And the show was busy for us as usual with many of our current customers coming to meet the team, arranging appointments and discussing current orders and future opportunities.
